Getting Directions (Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze)

EasyRoutes allows you to easily navigate from stop to stop using the EasyRoutes Delivery Driver app for iOS & Android.

See How do I get directions to a stop? for instructions on getting directions with EasyRoutes Delivery Driver.

Getting Directions from the Route Page

You can also open up a series of stops in Google Maps from the Route Page of any route you've planned. Longer routes may be divided up into multiple parts because Google Maps can't handle a long list of stops.

Click the "Additional actions" (three dots icon) button below your route's map and select "View in Google Maps"

This will open a new Google Maps window containing stops as a series of destinations to navigate:

A common issue regarding Google Maps is the View Directions link not working on Desktop or on Mobile - this occurs when you have stops with addresses that may not be formatted in a way that has a result on Google Maps. On iOS, if there are invalid addresses, then you'll get an error message when you attempt to load the link with directions, even if you can view more of this on Desktop.

Settings

In your settings you can customize how a stop is passed to your navigation app. EasyRoutes can pass the provided address to these apps, or you can send the latitude/longitude, or just the ZIP/Postal Code.

Troubleshooting

Issue Resolution
I cannot view my order or stop on Google Maps This may be caused by having an address with a partial match on Google Maps. You may: Edit your route by updating this stop's address or update your Order/Customer Information with a valid address and re-add this to your route by sending the order to your existing route.
I cannot add a stop to a route This may be caused by addresses being located too far from your start/end locations or too far from your stops where EasyRoutes can generate a route that can be completed in a day. You may need to create an alternative route in your orders page to serve these orders if they show up as a rejected stop in a route. If you have invalid addresses, you may: Edit your route by updating this stop's address or update your Order/Customer Information with a valid address and re-add this to your route by sending the order to your existing route.
I cannot view directions on Google Maps This may be caused by having an address with a partial match on Google Maps in one of your stops. It's easier to track down this issue on the desktop version of Google Maps. But you may be able to resolve this by editing your route by updating this stop's address or updating your Order/Customer Information with a valid address and re-adding this to your route by sending the order to your existing route. Once you have valid addresses, your Google Maps directions link will work better. Alternatively, you can get directions to your next stop in your route by selecting the address for the next stop to launch Google Maps.
